Interns are given an opportunity to work in a professional environment with the staff from the agency in carrying out all facets of public health activities i.e., program implementation, community outreach, and evaluation.
All interns are assessed and placed within the agency according to their interests in public health, available time, experience, and the capacity of the agency to provide appropriate supervision and guidance. In some cases, there is funding (internal/external) for internships. Individuals interested in providing community service via an internship with the agency will be required to submit an application, CV, background check, and references.
Please contact Erise Williams, Jr. - President/CEO at erisejr@minorityhealthstl.org if you’re interested in being an intern
